Palo Santo scented snap bar wax melts are a rich, sophisticated woody fragrance with bergamot, olibanum, cypress, mint and basil leading to a heart of clove and verbena resting on a complex base of patchouli, velvet woods, tonka, benzoin, moss, amber and a hint of leather.
Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is a tree that’s native to Peru, Ecuador, and other South American countries. It grows in dry tropical forests and produces very fragrant resin. In Spanish, Palo Santo means “holy wood.”
For thousands of years, the wood, resin, and oil have been used for medicinal purposes. It’s mainly used to treat pain and stress. It’s also said to clear negative energy.
Palo Santo has been used by indigenous peoples for centuries.
American shamans believed burning Palo Santo had similar properties capable of resetting energy that was tainted by negativity or conflict. It also is thought to neutralize issues before they ever start.
What is a Snap Bar?
Snap bars is a term used for scented wax melts. They can be used in an oil burner or plug in wax warmers.
Wax melts are small, scented pieces of wax designed to be gently heated to release their fragrance. They're like candles but without the wick, meaning that they require a wax warmer to melt and diffuse the fragrance.
Our snap bar scented wax melts are all handmade in our shop located in Yorkshire, UK.
We make our wax melts using soy wax which we feel gives the best performance when compared to other waxes when used in a burner.
Simply pop a block into your wax melter, without overfilling, to release the wonderful scents. Each pack contain 10 wax melts blocks.
The plastic packaging used in these products is made form rPET which is a recycled form of plastic which contains 86% recycled plastic.
The recycled content is a mix of recycled bottle flake (water bottles) and the manufacturing waste that accumulates at our manufacturer's factory.
The great news is that once you have finished with the wax melts that the plastic packaging can be fully recycled.
